Transport properties of Graphene

Abstract:
Graphene is a single sheet of carbon atoms arranged in a honeycomb 2D lattice structure.
It has remarkable chemical, electronic and mechanical properties. In this talk,
I will present how we can obtain the electronic band structure of Graphene
using tight binding calculations that lead to the linear energy-momentum dispersion
in this material. I will give an introduction of the transport properties of
Graphene and present experimental results that highlight them. Finally, I will
also discuss its potential applications in electronic
