1. Syntheses and Structures of New Framework Compounds

Over the years, we have prepared a number of compounds based on phosphates, phosphites, arsenates etc.  During the last few years, we have expanded the scope of the studies with newer anions such as sulphates, thiosulphates, chromates and dichromates etc.  The compounds have interesting structures and novel properties.  UV- and sun-light assisted photo-decomposition of organic dyes, heterogeneous catalysis have been carried out utilizing these compounds
