3. Inorganic Pigments

There is a continuous need to prepare new coloured compounds due to the demand for new and improved pigments. The studies so far has resulted in the isolation of new blue and turquoise pigments. The excitation dependent emission is another area of interest where we have made some contribution. The coordination geometry controlled luminescence behaviour suggest new chromophores.
