5. Li-Battery Materials

Solids exhibiting Li-ion mobility is an important area that is being investigated. We have made some progress in this front, by doping Ru in place of Co in LiCoO2 structure and their analogues. The studies indicated excellent behaviour and some of these compounds can be used as Li-cathode materials
