Biography and Outline:
 

Prof. Irshad Ahmad is associated with the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), United Arab Emirates (UAE). He earned his Ph. D. in Chemistry in 2006 from the Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI), Bhavnagar University, India.

Prof. Irshad has pursued research at several prestigious international institutions, including the Van’t Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Leibniz Institute for Surface Modification, Leipzig, Germany; Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Stephenson Life Science Research Center, University of Oklahoma, USA; and the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology, South Korea. He has also served as a visiting scientist at the International Centre for Materials Science (ICMS), Sheikh Saqr Laboratory (SSL), and Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bangalore, India.  He also served as a visiting professor at the Wayne State University, Michigan, USA and University of Toronto, Canada.
Prof. Irshad Ahmad’s research focuses on molecular and nanoscale innovation, with major contributions to the development of advanced nanomaterials and their composites for green chemistry, energy conversion, CO₂ capture and organic transformations, and biomedical applications. He explores novel nanostructures and hybrid systems that address pressing global challenges in next-generation sustainable energy technologies and health. He is committed to advancing the frontiers of nanotechnology through cross-disciplinary collaboration, driving transformative solutions that align with the principles of environmental responsibility, decarbonization and circular economy solutions, technological innovation, and long-term societal impact.
