Abstract:

Framework Compounds like Metal Oxides, Coordination Polymers, Porous Organic Polymers etc., have been prepared and understood the internal structures in the molecular level.  It is interesting to study the morphology of the materials as well.[1-5]  I will be introducing Covalent Organic Frameworks, a class of crystalline porous materials, also known as COFs, followed by Reticular Chemistry.  These materials are framework compounds, and the preparation procedure of these materials starts from discrete molecules, and then  the final framework. And different morphological studies of Covalent Organic Frameworks have been included in this talk; and mechanisms to obtain such morphologies in Covalent Organic Chemistry.
